When shopping for the perfect dress, the key is to have an open mind. When I first saw this dress, I wasn't very impressed, but ended up trying it on and fell in love. Clothing doesn't always look great on the hanger, but take a risk and give it a chance because it could be better than you ever imagined.

BLACK OUT

Black is and always will be the perfect wardrobe staple. Whenever I look at my parents old pictures, whether it be my dad in his white tuxedo, or my mom with her feathered hair, I realize  somethings aren't so timeless and there is a reason why... they are ugly. 

On the other hand, when looking at old pictures, and seeing my mom in her black dress, and dad in his black suit, I realize why black is timeless... the outfits still look just as good now, as they did then. So, when in doubt, black it out!

TYING THE KNOT

             So, I'm just your typical girl who lives and breathes fashion which is why starting my own fashion blog seemed crucial. If you are reading this post, I am so beyond happy that you are here because you are starting this amazing journey with me from the start. 

              

               Over the years I have come to the realization that putting on a killer outfit everyday can get a little tough. But why should we take the time to pick out that killer outfit? Because it makes us feel unstoppable, and gives us a boost of fabulousness... and who doesn't like to feel fabulous? Some of you might be wondering where I come into play with all this. Well, I'm going to help you bring out all that fabulousness that you have within. 

             Fabulous fashion isn't about matching, it's about being bold. This outfit is one of my summer favorites because of the simplicity of the fabrics, but the boldness of the accessories. I hope this outfit brings a whole new meaning to tying the knot. Sometimes I get a little bored with the basic long stranded necklaces, which is why I like to tie my necklaces in a knot to add a bit more of a statement. Another thing that is hard for me when summer comes around, is giving up my boots ... but once I found these shoes I instantly fell in love due to the fact that they are a mix of a boot and a sandal which is the perfect combination for summer.
