Workout Guide

Tank: Nike,  Leggings: Victorias Secret, Shoes: Nike, Sports Bra: Gap

So, in the summer I am always working out. Partly because it is swimsuit season, but also because working out is a HUGE stress reliever for me, and I love to be healthy. Below I listed some of my workout tips, and my go to workouts.

For makeup:  When I go to the gym, I don’t typically where makeup, but some days I look like I got hit by a train so I decide a little makeup will be needed.  When I do wear makeup, I use a light BB Cream (this one is my favorite), some argan lip oil, and a slight bit of mascara. It’s super breathable, and super light.

For Clothes: When I work out, I like tighter fitting clothing because I personally feel like baggier clothes get in the way. The tank top above is about as loose as I will go.  My favorite work out pants are by Victoria Secret, and for anything else I mainly use Nike, Target, or Gap (they seriously all have the best/ most comfortable workout gear).

My Favorite Workouts: I am a class type of girl. I don’t know what it is about them, but I work out SO much harder in a class. My favorite classes are Insanity and Pure Barre. Insanity is a super intense 45- minute cardio workout that works your whole body. You will sweat like crazy (so bring a towel and water).  Pure Barre is a class where you don’t necessarily sweat, but your whole body will be burning.  It adds so much muscle to your body, and you work muscles that you didn’t even know were in your body. The two classes together (Insanity and Pure Barre) work wonders, and have shown me results the fastest.

Beauty is pain, right? Well, I totally agree with that. Those stilettos, girl they hurt but they look good, so we act like the pain isn’t THAT bad even though we can barely walk by the end of the night.

Although, I sure do like wearing my heels, I also LOVE to be comfortable and, of course, stylish. This t-shirt dress, and these statement gladiator sandals make that very possible. What are y’alls go to comfort pieces?

Over the years, I’ve learned that fashion is subjective. The other day, I walked down stairs in this outfit and lets just say, my mom was not the biggest fan. At first, I was slightly offended, but then I realized everyone has a different style and that is a good thing.

Next time you see an outfit you don’t like, don’t judge, just realize everyone has their own unique style and they probably LOVE what they’re wearing. If everyone dressed the same, fashion wouldn’t exist and well… that would be a tragedy!  As long as your style reflects who you are, you’re rockin’ it!

Skorts

Top: Urban Outfitters,  Skort: Urban Outfitters (in stores only),  Necklace: Forever 21 (similar here), Shoes: Sam Edelman (old),  Bag: Prada

Never did I think that "skorts" would be trending again. At first, I was a little iffy about the trend just because it reminded me to much of my elementary school days, but I decided to give them a go. I am so happy I did, because they really are the best of both worlds. Fashion sure does have a funny way of repeating itself.
